One source, many sizes

Turn one mark into a website-ready set.

Prepare common icon sizes together, review the generated pack summary, and keep an organized starter pack instead of repeating the same export by hand.

A practical starter set

Fewer forgotten sizes.

Browsers, saved shortcuts, and installable web apps can each reference different icon sizes. The pack generator creates a consistent group from the same source and keeps the filenames together.

Common PNG iconsCreate browser and app-icon dimensions from one square master image.
Organized ZIPKeep the generated assets together instead of downloading each size separately.
Supporting hintsCopy starter markup or manifest information for the generated filenames.
Consistent sourceEvery derivative begins from the same local image and crop.

Design note: A generated pack is a production starting point, not a replacement for inspecting small icons. Fine lines and text that look clear at 512 pixels may become unreadable at favicon sizes.

Common questions

Before generating a pack.

What source image works best?

Use a large square image with simple shapes, clear spacing, and no tiny text. Leave visual breathing room around the mark so it remains recognizable at small sizes.

Does the pack install itself?

No. FormatTailor prepares downloadable files and supporting snippets. You still choose where to place them in the website and update the relevant HTML or manifest.

Does this create an SVG logo?

No. The tool creates raster derivatives from the image you provide. It does not trace or invent a vector version of the source.
