Using FormatTailor
You may use the publicly available tools for lawful personal or commercial file preparation. You must have the necessary rights to process each source file and to use the result.
Your files and results
You retain your rights in files you select and results you generate. FormatTailor does not claim ownership of them. Keep the original source and verify every downloaded result before replacing, publishing, submitting, or distributing anything.
Prohibited use
Do not use FormatTailor to violate law or another person’s rights, interfere with the service, bypass technical limits, distribute malware, probe infrastructure without permission, or falsely suggest that FormatTailor endorses a product or result.
No guaranteed result
Browser processing depends on the device, browser, memory, source file, supported codecs, and chosen settings. FormatTailor does not guarantee that every file will open, that a target size will always be reached, that all metadata will be detected, or that an output will be accepted by a third-party website.
Availability and changes
Tools may change, be interrupted, or be withdrawn. Format support and browser behavior can also change. Material changes to these terms will be reflected by a new effective date on this page.
Use at your judgment
The tools are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, FormatTailor is not responsible for losses caused by relying on an unverified output, deleting an original file, or using a result outside the limits described by the tool.
